Google Indexing

Use this checklist when submitting NFT Loans to Google Search Console.

Properties

Add and verify both public properties:

PropertyPurpose
https://nftloans.ioDocumentation and product overview site.
https://app.nftloans.ioPublic lending marketplace and app entry points.

If Search Console offers DNS verification for the domain property, prefer DNS verification so subdomains are covered together. Otherwise verify each URL-prefix property separately.

Sitemap URLs

Submit these sitemap URLs in Search Console:

SiteSitemap
Docshttps://nftloans.io/sitemap.xml
Apphttps://app.nftloans.io/sitemap.xml

Both sites also expose their sitemap URL from robots.txt:

SiteRobots
Docshttps://nftloans.io/robots.txt
Apphttps://app.nftloans.io/robots.txt

Pre-Submission Checks

  • Confirm both robots.txt files return 200.
  • Confirm both sitemap.xml files return 200.
  • Confirm the docs sitemap includes the public documentation pages.
  • Confirm the app sitemap includes /, /borrow, and /lend.
  • Confirm /dashboard and /messages are not in the app sitemap.
  • Confirm wallet/account routes render noindex.
  • Confirm public pages do not render noindex.
  • Confirm canonical URLs use the production domains.

Google Submission Flow

  1. Open Google Search Console.
  2. Verify ownership for nftloans.io and app.nftloans.io, or verify the root domain with DNS.
  3. Submit both sitemap URLs from the Sitemaps report.
  4. Use URL Inspection for the home pages after deployment:
  5. Request indexing only after production deploys have finished.

Submitting a sitemap helps Google discover canonical URLs, but it does not guarantee indexing.
